Hours:                     Permanent Full time (40 hours per week)
Location:               Cambridge, ON
Salary:                     Negotiable based on experience
 
Clear Path Employer Services is a team of certified HR consultants and medical professionals dedicated to resolving the HR and claims management challenges faces businesses across Ontario.  We help our clients manoeuvre through the bureaucratic maze, improve health outcomes for their workers, and reduce their WSIB/WCB claim costs. We strive to exceed our client’s expectations with our extensive knowledge, exceptional customer service, and the impressive results we achieve.
 
Our ideal candidate is French speaking with a few years of HR experience in their background, and has a strong interest in specializing in disability claims management.  Our team provides the guidance and training to be successful in this role. 
 
As part of our team you will provide our Bilingual client caseload with disability claims management support from start to finish.  Along with supporting our Quebec clients, you will also have the opportunity to work in other provincial jurisdictional boards as well.  You will work closely with clients, the Clear Path team, WSIB and CNESST, treating practitioners and other external partners to manage claims assigned as well as identify opportunities for cost containment for our clients. 
 
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Claims management including claim set up, reviewing relevant documents, preparing employer report of injury, preparing letters to various WCB boards relating to the claim, and submitting all forms within established time frames.
  • Point of contact for the client, specifically our Quebec French speaking clients
  • Prepare relevant correspondence including:  return to work programs, initial and ongoing objections, SIEF cost relief investigations.
  • Prepare monthly reports for clients.
  • Work cooperatively with Clear Path team and external partners to manage claims.
  • All activity associated to be logged in our on-line intranet site daily.
 
We are seeking candidates with the following:
  • Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desire to build relationships and deliver exceptional service to our teams, clients, visitors, etc.
  • High energy, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional bilingual communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity for all HR related matters.
  • Must be highly detail oriented, able to multitask and manage own time effectively in a fast paced environment, and have excellent organizational skills.
 
Minimum Qualification:
  • University/college degree or equivalent in Human Resources
  • CHRL or CHRP designation is preferred
  • Understanding of CNESST, HR legislation including Human Rights Code, WSIB, and the Health and Safety Act
  • Fluent in both French and English; verbally and written
  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and comfort working with online systems
  • 3 - 5 years current experience in an HR role, and having a keen interest in becoming a specialist in the area of disability claims managment
