Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Position description:

Assist the owners in all activities involving business development, customer relations, communications and marketing. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, personal initiative, comfort with technology, and strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

Duties include:
  • Identifying new business leads and maintaining the company's contact database
  • Updating our website and Social Media sites
  • Researching and creating content for e-newsletter, blogs and learning session materials
  • Promoting Clear Path learning sessions, managing the registration process and logistics related to each event
  • Representing us at trade shows and business networking events
  • Nurturing relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Assisting in the creation of new marketing collateral
  • Measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts

Job Requirements:
  • Must be outgoing with a positive attitude & a strong customer focus
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills (including the ability to develop, analyze and proof-read business communications)
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel would be an asset
  • Experience with CRM tools such as ACT! or Salesforce.com would be an asset
  • Experience with websites and Social Media marketing would be an asset
  • General knowledge of human resources (HR) would be an asset

Although most of the duties for this position are done within our office, the successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for occasional learning sessions, trade shows and networking events.

Please note that the successful candidate must be able to begin working immediately.
