About Margaret
Margaret Sullivan Williams, Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), is a Senior HR Consultant specializing in organizational development, transition management, best practice recommendations and structural human resources program creation.
Margaret holds a professional designation through the HRPA of Ontario, a Bachelor of Arts degree with Specialized Honours and a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Guelph. She is passionate about creating engaging environments at work that foster personal and organizational growth. With over 16 years of professional experience, Margaret's work has included innovating strategic policies and organizational development initiatives, creating total compensation programs, implementing pay equity, managing payroll and benefits, implementing ISO and Lean Management systems and creating comprehensive human resources functions (from hiring to performance management to termination and every aspect of employment life in between). Margaret is an accomplished, results-oriented human resources business leader and strategic business partner committed to achieving organizational excellence through effective human resources program creation and implementation. She applies knowledge of HR legislation, including the Employment Standards Act (ESA), the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act (WSIA), Pay Equity Act of Ontario, the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and the Canadian Human Rights Code, while helping employers resolve complex employee and organizational issues. She also serves as a mentor in the HRPA Mentor Protégé program (2011-2012 and 2012-2013) and volunteers her time to support Nutrition for Learning at the elementary level in Kitchener.
