Josie is an HR Consultant and Claims Manager at Clear Path Employer Services, a Cambridge based HR Consulting firm. She joined the Clear Path team in 2011
Josie is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). She has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University with a focus on Human Resources, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Human Biology.
Josie is an active member of the Toronto West HRPA's Board of Directors and is responsible for planning programs, events and soliciting speakers. Josie also recently joined the Board of Directors at Silvercreek Preschool, assisting them in developing new and reviewing existing policies and procedures to ensure legislative compliance.
Josie has over 10 years experience working as a Human Resources Professional in the transportation industry with a speciality in WSIB cost containment. Josie has an excellent understanding of the WSIB NEER program and the impact of claims costs, helping clients avoid costly decisions.
As a part of the Clear Path team, Josie supports customers to meet their business objectives, including:
NEER review and analysis
Acquiring SIEF Cost Relief and preparing objections for complicated WSIB Claims
Implementing Return to Work plans for injured workers
Developing Employee Policy Manuals/Handbooks
Providing "on demand" HR advice for a number of employee related situations, and legislative compliance
Josie is enthusiastic and often complimented on her approachability. Josie primarily works out of Vaughn assisting our clients in the Greater Toronto area. She enjoys volunteering in her community, giving back to local charities and spending time outdoors.
