Brenda Ellis, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), is a Senior HR Consultant and Claims Manager at Clear Path Employer Services, a full service HR consulting firm. She has been with Clear Path since 2006.
Brenda brings a myriad of strengths to our team, including particular expertise in:
WSIB and Short-Term-Disability (STD) claims management,
Implementing Return-To-Work plans for injured workers,
Analyzing the financial impact of WSIB claims within the WSIB's NEER program, and
Developing customized Employee Policy & Procedures for growing businesses.
Brenda is renowned for her exceptional customer service and applies her superior knowledge of HR legislation, including the Employment Standards Act (ESA), the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act (WSIA), the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), and the Canadian Human Rights Code, while helping employers resolve complex employee issues.
Brenda is a graduate of York University and has over 10 years of experience as a Human Resources professional. Prior to joining Clear Path, she served as a Human Resources Manager at a large manufacturing firm in Cambridge and a small manufacturing company in Guelph.
Brenda was recently a featured speaker at the HRPA's 2012 Conference (the second largest HR conference in North America). Joined by colleague Anna Aceto-Guerin, they presented "Managing WSIB Repeat Offenders"
